Product Description

This painting, which I call Fusion, is really about focusing on abstract shapes and color, and letting them kind of fuse together. I wanted to experiment with blending bright, saturated colors with darker colors. You have the cyan and green mixed with the mustard and darker orange, creating a combination that feels both complementary and contrasting at the same time.

I feel like it has a comforting feel to it, but there’s also something a little jarring—or maybe alerting—about it. It makes you stop and look at it, and then, as you spend a little more time with it, you can kind of be calmed by the orbs floating around and the different shapes and colors.

I also really like that it’s very asymmetrical. There’s a lot of visual weight on one side with the contrasting red and blue, and that’s balanced by the mustard and the large field of color on the other side.

This is an acrylic painting, with the paint thinned down quite a bit to give it that smooth, flowing feel. The original is painted on gessoed canvas and is 30″ × 40″, so it’s a medium-to-large size painting.

How to Access Your Art 

Your files will be available to download immediately after payment is confirmed. 

  1. Click the Link: In your order confirmation, click the link to the secure Dropbox folder.
  2. No Account Needed: If Dropbox asks you to log in, simply select “Continue with download only.” 
  3. Download to Device: Open each file and click the Download icon. Save the high-resolution version directly to your computer or device. Note: Please do not “right-click and save” the preview image, as this only saves a low-resolution thumbnail. 

Important: We recommend downloading all art files immediately and storing them on your personal hard drive or in cloud storage to ensure permanent access to your artwork.

For the best results, we recommend an online or local professional print service or a high-quality home photo printer.
